My partner discovered this wee place tucked just off the high street. From our visit, we can tell it's a favourite among the locals. The breakfast stacks were phenomenal. I got one with an egg, a hash brown, mushrooms, asparagus, parmesan and truffle on sourdough. Woah! To top it all off, the staff were absolutely lovely!
The food was amazing, we didn't book a table but next time we visit town we will be sure to do so. The staff was super friendly The wee sweet treats also great. Definitely recommend trying this sweet little Cafe.
1st time visitor. Enjoyed a Breakfast roll and an Americano. Both were freshly prepared and delicious. Service was super friendly and efficient. 5 all around. Thank you
So good I went twice previous to this my favourite breakfast in Scotland was inside the tourist shop in glencoe no longer! This was epic the prices are so cheap !!! I’m from the Lake District and you would pay double this it not be as nice and have to listen to some pretentious sausage talk about there 14th holiday home .... I had to ask twice when she said how much its that cheap ...friendly talkative staff will absolutely be stopping off hear again
A wee hidden gem! Visited for the first time today and we were very impressed. We both had the Bees Knees (honey chilli chicken) ciabatta, it was absolutely delish and tasted so fresh. The bread was lovely and soft and came with beautiful homemade coleslaw and a side salad. The cakes looked fab but we were too full. The staff were lovely and so welcoming, we will definitely be back :)
Visited for afternoon tea for 7 people, which we obviously pre ordered. We received excellent service, with time to chat and order drinks before our food arrived. Lovely wee atmosphere and decor in the place too. Food was fab! I would say the afternoon tea is very under priced for the quantity and quality of the food. It seems like double portions - i took home just as much as I'd eaten. I would happily pay the same for a smaller portion. The home baking is lush. Dietary requests were accommodated without issue, so the veggie option was still plentiful and creative.
Superb place. I would walk more than 500 miles and more than another 500 miles too, if I meant I could eat here again. What a superb place to eat. Cheap prices, excellent food, great service, brilliant value for money.
My wife has always wanted to visit this place, so we decided to go for breakfast and coffee. I had the Highlander breakfast, while she opted for the loaded hash browns and crispy chicken. The food was outstanding—absolutely delicious. I also thoroughly enjoyed my latte. We finished by taking home some of their homemade desserts, which were equally delightful. The staff was exceptionally attentive, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the Dumbarton area. I’ll definitely be returning more often.
